Small group strength training
Small group training at Adapt gives you a planned strength session, a coach following the room and other people doing the work beside you, all inside the North Sydney gym. Ask the team for the current timetable and class fee.

Coached as a group, seen as an individual
Everyone follows the session, but the coach still watches how each person moves, adjusts the load and keeps the room working with purpose.
Ask about classesSmall groups or personal training?
Both are coached. The format changes how much attention you get in each session.
| Small group training | Personal training | |
|---|---|---|
| Format | Coach-led session with others in the room | One-to-one with your coach |
| Programming | Planned session for the group | Program built entirely around you |
| Coaching attention | Coach moves through the room and adjusts loads | Coach with you for every set |
| Often suits | Consistency, structure and training with others | Specific goals, injury context or rapid progression |

Ask about classesQuestions about group classes
Ask about classesDo I need to be fit to start group classes?
No. Sessions are structured so you work at a load that fits you. Tell the coach if you are new to strength training and they will help you set up each movement.
How many people are in a class?
Numbers vary by session type. Ask the team for current class sizes when you enquire so you know what to expect.
Can I combine classes with gym membership?
Yes. Many members use classes for structure and train on their own program at other times. Ask how that works when you join.
Can I combine classes with personal training?
Yes. Personal training gives you individual programming, and classes add coached volume in the week. Coaches can coordinate both when you train at Adapt.
What should I bring?
Training clothes, a water bottle and shoes suitable for lifting. Mention any injury history to the coach before the session starts.
Is there a trial class?
Trial options depend on what is running. Message us and we will tell you how to try a class with the current timetable.
Ask about group classes
Tell us your experience level and the times that suit you, and we will reply with the current timetable and fee.
